Dr. Tammy DeGregorio

Voted by her peers as Pittsburgh's Top Dentist 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011

Voted by her peers as Pittsburgh's Top Dentist 2008, 2009 and 2010 Dr. DeGregorio established her practice Designs in Dentistry, LLC in Shadyside in 1993. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, The Academy of CAD/CAD Dentistry and The Holistic Dental Association. Dr. DeGregorio is an accredited member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, having completed extensive training on the safe removal of amalgam/mercury fillings. She is also a charter member of The International Association of Mercury Safe Dentists.

Her passion for Whole Body approach to oral health care by combining sound dental science and technical experience with a deep concern for her patients' emotional well-being and comfort has led her to pursue her passion for holistic dentistry through her new practice, Puredent, Inc. Dr. DeGregorio is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and established her practice in Shadyside in 1993. She and her husband, John, enjoy raising their two young boys and love to talk about their many adventures!

Dr. Michele Pawlowicz

Dr. Pawlowicz, our Associate Dentist, has been working with Designs in Dentistry, LLC for over a year now. She has completed extensive training at the Las Vegas Institute (LVI) in Advanced Esthetics and Endodontics and displays a unique passion for making smiles beautiful! As well, she specializes in Cerec 3D CAD/CAM dentistry, designing and fabricating full porcelain crowns, inlays and onlays - all completed in one office visit.

Michele is a proud and active member of the Army Reserves Dental Corps. As a Major in the United States Army, Michele has recently served a tour in Iraq and has the honor and privilege to take care of our soldiers' dental needs all over the world. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

Valerie Jacobs, RDH, BS

Val graduated valedictorian from the University of Pittsburgh and received her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is licensed to administer local anesthesia. Valerie is currently serving as President of the Western Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist's Association and serves on numerous advisory committees for dental hygiene and dental assisting programs.

Allison Spory, Office Coordinator

Allison is a new addition to our team and our Front Office Coordinator. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and comes to us with years of experience in management, billing and compliance. When she is not working, she is busy planning her Fall wedding. Allison resides in Highland Park with her fiancé, David, and their black lab, Logan.
